Administrative data

First-aid measures

Inhalation: No hazards which require special first aid measures.

Skin contact:No hazards which require special first aid measures. Wash off with plenty of water.

Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. In case of persistent eye irritation, consult a physician.

Ingestion: No hazards which require special first aid measures. Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. Drink plenty of water. Obtain medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Foam, Carbon dioxide (CO2), Dry powder.

Precautions: Spills produce slippery surfaces.

Special protective equipment for firefighters: Cool containers / tanks with spray water. Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.

Accidental release measures

Environmental precautions: Do not contaminate water. Do not let product enter drains.

Methods for cleaning up: Do not flush with water . Dam up. Soak up with inert absorbent material. If liquid has been spilt in large quantities clean up promptly by scoop or vacuum. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. After cleaning, flush away traces with water.

Handling and storage

Safe handling advice: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. When preparing the working solution avoid produing aerosols and splashing.When using do not smoke. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Storage: Keep in a dry, cool place (5-30 °C). Protect from light.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Stability and reactivity

Protect from light and temperatures above 35°C. Stabilize with EMHQ or the like in order to prevent spontaneous polymerisation.

Dispose of in a dedicated landfill or incinerate according to local national and European requirements.
