Tert-Butylperoxy-3,5,5-trimethylhexanoat has no explosive properties because it is not classified as Organic Peroxide Type B (reference CPL regulations 2.15.2.2 and UN Recommendations on the transport of Dangerous Goods, 16th revised edition, Section 2.5.3.2.4. See also ECHA guidance on the application of CLP criteria, section 2.14). Tert-Butylperoxy-3,5,5-trimethylhexanoat is classified as organic peroxide TYPE D. See endpoint 4.13 Flammability.
