Description of key information

Accumulation in organisms is not to be expected

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

There are no experimental data available for bioaccumulation testing to fish. However, due to the low log Pow (0.34) and the readiliy biodegradability of Propan-1 -ol bioaccumulation is not to be expected. The calculation of BCF by using the equation given in Veith and Kosian (1983): log BCF = 0,79 Pow - 0,40; the resulting BCF is < 1.
