Additional information

The gentox potential for XUR-YM-2003 -145777 (Methyl Polyhydroxymethyl Stearate) was evaluated in the following in-vitro tests - Chinese Hamster Ovary Cell/Hypoxanthine-Guanine-Phosphoribosyl Transferase (CHO/HGPRT) Forward Mutation Assay, Salmonella-Escherichia coli/Mammalian-Microsome Reverse Mutation Assay and In Vitro Chromosomal Aberration Assay in Rat Lymphocytes. The results of the in vitro tests indicate that under the conditions tested, the test article was non-mutagenic.

Endpoint Conclusion: No adverse effect observed (negative)

Justification for classification or non-classification

The results of the in vitro tests indicate that the test article in non-mutagenic, and thus, should not be classified for genotoxicity potential.
