Additional information

Based on Reach regulation ANNEX IX column II " These studies do not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. In the absence of toxicity data for soil organisms, the equilibrium partitioning method may be applied to assess the hazard to soil organisms."

Considering physico-chemical propertiesand the intended uses of Paraffin waxes and Hydrocarbon waxes (C14-17), chloro, sulfochlorinated, low sulphonated, saponified,

a relevant exposure of terrestrial organisms to the test substance is unlikely. Tests in terrestrial organisms were therefore considered not to be necessary.
