Results and discussion

Results:
The dust cloud could be ignited by a continuous spark as ignition source in the Hartmann apparatus. A visible flame was observed at a load of 500 g/m3 test substance in the apparatus. (Note that this concentration does no correspond to the lower explosion limit.).

Conclusions:
The substance has to be considered to be capable of dust explosion (like many other organic compounds).
