Description of key information

The ready biodegradability was evaluated by Hüls AG (1993) in a DOC-DIE AWAY Test according to EU-method C.4-A. The DOC removal following inoculation with activated sludge was measured at defined sampling intervals. The mean biodegradability derived from the DOC-DIE AWAY Test was 8% indicating that the test item is not readily biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
not biodegradable
Type of water:
freshwater
