Description of key information
Data on effects to terrestrial organisms are not available.
Since MMT[EHTG] is readily biodegradable and no direct releases to soil from point sources are known, no significant exposure of the terrestrial compartment is expected. At production sites MMT[EHTG] is handled in closed systems. Diffuse releases into the environment may occur from residual MMT[EHTG] in the polymerised PVC; however, no testing in the terrestrial compartment is required based on such low exposure levels.
