Description of key information
The test item is 99.82% purity and stable under the study conditions.
A simple preliminary test is carried out, and the approximate solubility in water is 100-50 g/L.
Based on the preliminary test, three saturated samples in water are prepared, tightly stoppered and agitated at 30℃.After one day, one of the samples was equilibrated for 24hours at 20℃ with occasional shaking, the centrifuged and the concentration was analyzed by liquid chromarography after filtering the solution with 0.45µm filters. The other two samples were treated similarly after initial equilibration at 30℃ for 2 and 3 days respectively. The pH of the samples in water is 2.31.
The reference substance(purity:99.9% ) was employed to make the calculation curve.

According to the test results (OECD 105), the solubility of Itaconic Acid at 20±0.5℃is77.49g/Lin water with the deviation of 0.7%
