Description of key information

The substance decomposes before boiling

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Aliphatic amine oxides undergo thermal decomposition/Cope elimination between 110-200°C. As a consequence, melting is likely to be accompanied by decomposition, and all boiling points are predicted to be far above the decomposition temperature. Therefore a study to fill this endpoint is not required.
