Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

As the substance rapidly hydrolyses. A PNEC sediment has been derived using the EP method on a NOEC (chronic daphnid) which is the highest concentration testable. Nonetheless the RCR for the sediment compartment is <0.1.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is rapidly hydrolysed, limiting exposure to the sediment compartment. Moreover, no effects have been found on any aquatic organisms tested including in a chronic daphnid study. Nevertheless a PNEC sediment has been derived using the EP method derived from the highest concentration tested in the daphnid chronic study. This is therefore a highly conservative PNEC. Depite this, the RCRs derived for sediment are less than 0.1 and thereofre it is considered highly improbable that effects in the sediment compartment due to this substance would occur. For this reason no sediment toxicity studies are proposed.
