Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Biotransformation and the transformation products in river sediment were studied over a 100-day period. The test system included 20 g wet sediment, 30 ml aqueous solution (25 ml river water) and 50 µg test substance per test vessel. Additionally, the test system used C18 SPE cartridges to capture volatile parent and transformation products from the headspace. Biotransformation in the aerobic sediment system was rapid.

The underlying hypothesis for the read-across is the test substance is transformed metabolically to 6:2 FTOH. Additional documentation, provided within IUCLID, supports the read-across approach.
