2.5 g test substance applied to surface of 600 ml light sandy soil (.25-.75% organic carbon; pH ca 5.6) and extracted with 390 ml water (with and without detergent) over 2 days. Leachate analyzed for aromatic amine both before and after acidic hydrolysis.
