Description of key information
Due to chemical structure tolyltriazole is not expected to be surface-active.

Additional information
Tolyltriazole has no hydrophilic headgroup and no hydrophobic tail. Therefore the substance is not expected to be a surface-active agent. In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Annex VII, section 7.3, Column 2 (specific rules for adaptation), a study to determine the surface tension needs not to be conducted.
