Reference
Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
From 08-Oct-2010 to 09-Oct-2010
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: This study has been performed according to OECD and EU guidelines and according to GLP principles.
Qualifier:
according to
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:
according to
Guideline:
EU Method A.6 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. certificate)
Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
> 500 g/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 7.4 - <= 7.5

Since the solutions were viscous and pitch black, it was not possible to further investigate the water solubility because at higher concentrations it was not possible to state if the dissolution was complete.

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): very soluble (> 10000 mg/L)
From the experimental data obtained it can be concluded that the water solubility of the Algea Fert Solid K + sample is higher than 500 g/L at 20°C

Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
500 g/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C
