Additional information

In a non-GLP study conducted according to OECD Guideline 301E, the biodegradability of the substance (CAS 149-57-5) was studied (Finnish Chemicals Oy, 1998, report no. E2807). The inoculum was primary effluent from a wastewater treatment plant treating predominantely municipal wastewater. The degradation reached 99% (DOC removal) after 28 days of exposure. The limit for ready biodegradability (>60%) was reached within the 10 days window. The test met the validity criteria of the guideline.

The substance is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
