Description of key information

NOEC (19d) >= 100 mg/kg soil dw. for seedling emergence and growth of Lepidum sativum, Brassica alba and Triticum aestivum

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The toxicity of the target substance to terrestrial was assessed by read-across based on the grouping of substances (category approach). The available data were used for a general assessment of the toxicity of the Alcohol Ethoxylates (AE) category substances to terrestrial organisms. Based on the available data adverse effects on terrestrial plants are not expected. No effects on the emergence or growth of seedlings of the plant speciesLepidum sativum, Brassica alba and Triticum aestivum were observed. The determined NOEC (19 d) was ≥ 100 mg/kg soil dw.
