Results and discussion

Boiling point
Remarks on result:
other: There is no evidence of endothermic or exothermic transitions in the temperature range tested.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Method according to Siwoloboff

The test was performed in triplicate: the same behaviour of the test item was observed during each test.

The test item slowly softened without a defined melting point and without any evidence of degradation in the range from 25 to.

Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)

The test was conducted under air usingthe gold type of crucible (HP gold plate 40mL) which is suitable to investigate in detail the various changes occurred by heating the sample until.

The test was performed in a temperature rangefrom 25 to, with a heating rate of 7°C/min.

There is no evidence of endothermic or exothermic transitions in the temperature range tested.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
According to the A.1 and A.2 in Official Journal L 383 Part A and OECD 102 and 103 guidelines, it can be concluded that for the Fatty Acid, Tall-Oil, Reaction Products with Diethylenetriamine, Maleic Anhydride, Tetraethylenepentamine and Triethylenetetramine sample no well boiling transition or decomposition phenomena is observed until 500°C, from the obtained experimental data.
