Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Read across. The density of the test substance in melted form is determined to 850 kg/m3 at 20°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
850

Additional information

Read across. Structural similarities within the diamine category (carbon chain distribution peaks at 18 carbons) with approximately the same distribution. Although CAS 7173-62-8 is more unsaturated this will not have a significant effect on density in this case. Also, the molecular weights are in the same range. Moreover, the distribution between primary, secondary and tertiary nitrogen is similar. Note, we have no means to measure the density on CAS 1219010-04-4, so the alternative is to waive it.
