Additional information

Several measured flash points are available. Those known to have been conducted according to international or national standard methods are considered reliable, even where no further information about the studies is available. The reliable values are 92 and 115°C. Other results, to which reliability could not be assigned, are in the range 65 -115°C. Usually the lowest value is chosen from the reliable studies as this is the most conservative approach; however, in this case the lowest value has a reported concentration of between 50 - 100%. Variations in purity of the test substance and test method can casue large variations in results, so the key study was chosen as the next lowest value from a reliable study with a higher purity. All values are consistent with the substance being not classified for flammability.
