Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Data on the ready biodegradability of Glycerides, C16-18 and C18 unsatd. Mono (CAS 91744-09-1) are not available. Therefore, data on the ready biodegradability of the structurally related analogue substance Glycerides, tall-oil, mono, di and tri (CAS 97722-02-6) is used as read-across in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex XI, 1.5. The test was conducted according to OECD Guideline 301F, under GLP conditions (Richterich, 1996). Activated sludge was exposed to the test substance for 28 days and biodegradation measured by O2 consumption. After 28 days, the test substance reached a biodegradation rate of 79 %. Based on the results for the read-across substance Glycerides, C16-18 and C18 unsatd. mono (CAS 91744-09-1) is considered as readily biodegradable.
