Glycerides, C16-18 and C18 unsatd. Mono (CAS 91744-09-1) is considered as readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria. This assumption is based on results for the structurally related read-across substance Glycerides, tall-oil, mono, di and tri (CAS 97722-02-6) that was tested in a study according to OECD Guideline 301 F. Due to the ready biodegradability in water a rapid degradation of the substance in aquatic and terrestrial environments is expected. Thus, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, column 2, 9.2.1.2. - 9.2.1.4., further simulation tests for water and sediment or soil biodegradation are not necessary.
