Additional information

Experimental studies investigating the abiotic hydrolysis of Glycerides, C16-18 and C18 unsatd. Mono (CAS 91744-09-1) are not available. However, in accordance with Annex VIII, column 2, 9.2.2.1. of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, testing is not required since the substance is readily biodegradable. The results from the supporting QSAR calculation with HYDROWIN v2.00 indicate that hydrolysis is not relevant for the substance, since the estimated half-lives of the main components ranged from 7.7 to 10.3 years at pH 7 and from 281.6 days to one year at pH 8 respectively (Gebhardt, 2013).
