The substance Isopropyl laurate is regarded as readily biodegradable according to the results of 67% degradation in a Closed Bottle Test (OECD 301D). This finding is further corroborated by the fact that all category member have consistently been shown to be readily biodegradable. Considering Isopropyl laurate as readily biodegradable, further simulation testing on sediment and soil is not required.
