Additional information

Results on acute aquatic toxicity are available for fish (Rainbow trout; LC50 (96 hours) 0.68 mg a.i./L, mean measured), invertebrates (Daphnia magna; EC50 (48 hours) 19.9 mg a.i./L, nominal) and algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata; ErC50 (72 hours), 0.705 mg a.i./L, mean measured).

Chronic toxicity data are available on the C12-C18 AAAO substance: 72-h NOEC to the freshwater alga Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata = 0.303 mg a.i./L.

Long-term studies are also available for fish and daphnia for the structural analoge C12 -C14 AO (Pimephales promelas; NOEC (302d) 0.42 mg a.i./L and Daphnia magna; NOEC (21 d) 0.7 mg a.i./L). These results indicate that C12 - C18 AAAO has a classification according to the DSD and according to the CLP.
