Additional information

Only a ready biodegradability test according to OECD guideline 301B (modified Sturm test) was performed with the test substance.

Under the conditions of the test only 10% was degraded. However, since these 10% occurred during the last 3 days, adaptation seems to be required and with a prolongation of the test, more degradation was to be expected.

In accordance with column 2 of REACh (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) Annex X, further biotic degradation testing (required in section 9.2.1) does not need to be conducted based on the findings of the Chemical Safety Assessment; the substance does not fulfil classification criteria according to the applicable regulations and does not fulfil the criteria for vPvB or PBT.
