Description of key information

No hydrolysis study could be performed due to its low water solubility and the concomittent lack of detectability of hydrolysis products.

Based on comparative data from other epoxide the hydrolysis half-life is estimated to be between 7 - 15 days.

Additional information

No hydrolysis study could be performed due to its low water solubility and therefore, no hydrolysis half-life could be determined. Nevertheless, hydrolysis may play a major role in the detoxification of TGMDA as shown for other epoxy compounds.
