Endpoint:
adsorption / desorption: screening
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the physicochemical properties of the substance indicate that it can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption

Description of key information

The registration substance is practically insoluble and has a negligible vapour pressure. Due to an n-octanol/water partitioning coefficient below the trigger value of three, a low adsorption potential to sediment and soil particles can be expected.

Furthermore there is currently no valid guideline for testing of nano-materials. Therefore testing is technically not feasable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
