8. Experience in human

In an early report, a concentration of 3928 mg/m³ air (800 ppm) was said to produce clear signs of toxicity in man after a 60-minute exposure, based on clinical tests and the results of experimental studies. The concentration causing signs of illness on longer exposure was 1964 mg/m³ air (400 ppm), and the threshold concentration for adverse effects was 982 mg/m³ air (200 ppm).
