Description of key information

From the water surface, the substance will rapidly evaporate into the atmosphere.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Henry´s law constant at 25°C was estimated by SRC HENRYWIN v3.10 [BASF AG, 2008].

The test substance may exist as a mixture of isomer structures. This includes only chain isomerism of a hydrocarbon, what means that no functional groups are involved. In such a case similar properties of the isomers can be expected.

Epiwin calculations were made with three exemplary isomers [CC(C)C=CCCC, CC(C)=CCCCC and C=CCCCC(C)C]. The results for the Henrys Law Constant ranged between 64037 and 89267 Pa m3/mol.
