Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash with water

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon, nitrogen and
sulphur oxides, hydrogen fluoride and soot. Water, carbon
dioxide, foam and dry powder are all suitable extinguishing
agents.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Solid: Collect after treating with moist material to
suppress dust formation. Dispose of at a controlled tip or
by incineration. Solutions: Absorb using a suitable
absorbent. Dispose by incineration.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid dust formation. If dust is formed, take suitable
measures to avoid inhaling the substance. Avoid contact
with the skin. Wear skin and eye protection.

Storage: No special precautions.

Stability and reactivity

Danger other than fire: Cases of respiratory sensitisation have been observed with
reactive dyes and care should be taken to avoid dust
inhalation. Should an individual become sensitised a doctor
should be consulted and all contact with reactive dyes must
cease immediately. The substance is a skin sensitiser.

Disposal considerations
