Description of key information

The test substance, 4,4'-Isopropylidenediphenol, oligomeric reaction products with 1-chloro-2,3-epoxypropane, reaction products with fatty acids, C18-unsatd., dimers was evaluated for ready biodegradability in an O.E.C.D. test guideline 301F study.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The test substance had a maximum biodegradation of 2% after 28 days of activated sludge contact. Therefore, the test substance is not readily biodegradable under the conditions of the study.
