Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key value determined using EU Method C7 and OECD guideline 111.
The key value is the average half-life at the temperature specified. Full values are detailed in the dicussion.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
19 d
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The aim of the study was to examine the hydrolysis behavior of the test substance at pH values normally found in the environment (pH4 – pH 9).

The result of the hydrolysis behaviour of the test substance at pH values normally found in the environment (pH 4 – pH 9) are given below:

Parameter                        Result

Hydrolysis at pH 4           t ½ = 53 days at 20°C; t ½ = 26 days at 25°C; t ½ = 25 hours at 50°C; t ½ = 11 hours at 60°C

Hydrolysis at pH 7           t ½ = 25 days at 20°C; t ½ = 14 days at 25°C; t ½ = 24 hours at 50°C; t ½ = 16 hours at 60°C

Hydrolysis at pH 9           t ½ = 34 days at 20°C; t ½ = 18 days at 25°C; t ½ = 24 hours at 50°C; t ½ = 15 hours at 60°C
