Additional information

A study was conducted according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.3. As mentioned in Annex 1 method A.3 the density of solid can be determined according to DIN EN ISO 1183 -1 (procedure B). The density was determined using the liquid pycnometry method. In the key study a density of 1.127 g/cm3 at 20°C was measured. Another study was conducted according to OECD TG 109 and Regulation (EC) no 440/2008 method A.3 but give no further information about the details on the method. In this study the density was determined to be 1.187 g/cm3 for 4 -Hydroxy TEMPO. There are no significant differences between the two values. Thus the value of the key study is regarded as reliable.
