Description of key information

In accordance with REACH Annex VIII column 2 section 9.2.2 experimental determination of abiotic degradation was waived. In two key studies, biodegradation was tested according to OECD Guideline 301 F (Ready biodegradability: Manometric Respiration Test) and similar to OECD Guideline 302B (Inherent Biodegradability: Zahn-Wellens Test). MAA was found to be readily and inherently biodegradable.
