Executive summary:

Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) / Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC): The sample is closed up in a crucible made of aluminium with perforated lid and cooled down in a DTA/DSC-system to -150 °C. Then the sample was heated up to 450 °C (heating rate 5 K/min). In comparison with an inert sample (empty crucible) the temperature difference and the heat effect are recorded.

No boiling point could be determined between -150 °C and 450 °C. Decomposition of the substance started at approx. 175 °C. But the substance is solid at ambient temperature.

This procedure conforms to test method A.2 (section 1.4.6), „determination of the boiling point“, described in the EC-Guideline.
