Additional information

Reliable information on the toxicity of the submission substance to fish, daphnia, algae and sewage sludge is available.

As the submission substance consists of two constituents (1.) a complex of Ca phosphate with potassium humate and 2.) Ca sulfate) data on these components are used to assess the aquatic toxicity for these substances (for justification of the read-across approach see Chapter 1 of the Chemical Safety Report and the Read-across Justification document).

On this basis the following key values for the various aquatic species were established:

LC50 (fish): >86 mg/L

LC50 (daphnia): >100 mg/L

ErC50 (algae): >88 mg/L

EC50 (microorganisms): >100 mg/L
