- A melting temperature of -49.4°C at 1013 hPa has been determined for the test substance using an appropriate test method. The result is considered reliable.
Reference
During measurement, an exothermic process was shown beginning at ~-95°C (~178K) with an onset temperature of ~-90°C (183K). This was interpreted as a form of crystalization process which resulted to the formation of a solid phase. The solid phase melts with an endothermic reaction at -49.4°C (223.8K) onset temperature.
The melting temperature can only be detected if the cooling process is carried out to a temperature below the crystalization temperature (-95°C). The table of results are shown below:

A measured melting temperature of -49.4°C at 1013 hPa was determined for the registered substance using a differential scanning calorimetry method in accordance with OECD Test Guideline 102 and in compliance with a known quality system (ISO 9001:2008). The result is considered to be reliable.
