Ecotoxicological information

Toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods

Administrative data

Endpoint:
toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods: short-term
Data waiving:
exposure considerations
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely
Justification for type of information:
In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, a study on soil organisms does not need to be conducted as direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. The substance shows a low adsorptive (log Koc = 0.59) as well as a bioaccumulative BCF = 10-39) potential. Hence, a relevant distribution into soil and a considerable exposure of soil organisms is not expected.
