Description of key information

The surface tension of an aqueous solution (1 g/L) of the test item at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C is 56.57 mN/m. Taking into account that the surface tension of the test item is below the trigger values of 60 mN/m, but the substance in an aqueous system is not expected to reduce the surface tension down to below 45 mN/m. Therefore the registered substance is NOT considered to be a surfactant.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
