Temperature was measured in case of each experiment at the outside and inside of the flask. The temperature distribution was steady outside the flask. The ignition delay time was determined when ignition was observed.

Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the substance was assessed according to EC (A.15) using a Gas Chromatograph Oven. The Gas Chromatograph Oven was calibrated using a n-Hexane reference material and determined the auto-ignition temperature of the substance to be 252 deg C.
