PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Persistence Assessment

Substance does not meet screening criteria. All of the components of this substance are readily biodegradable and it is therefore neither P nor vP.

Bioaccumulation Assessment

Substance does not meet screening criteria. All of the components of this substance have a logKow=<4.5 and is therefore it is neither B nor vB.

Toxicity Assessment

Substance does meet the screening criteria. The acute aquatic toxicity (LC50 and EC50) of all components is >0.1mg/l. Substance is neither carcinogenic, mutagenic nor toxic to reproduction. However, two of the components are classified for chronic effects following repeated exposure (STOR RE category 2), a classification that carries over to the substance as a whole, therefore the T critieria is met.

PBT/vPvB criteria and justification

Substance does not meet the screening criteria for persistency or bioaccumulation so is neither PBT nor vPvB.

Likely routes of exposure:

Not required as substance is neither PBT nor vPvB.
