Description of key information

After evaporation or exposure to the air, the product will be rapidly degraded by photochemical processes.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The photodegradation of the substance in air by reaction with OH radicals was calculated using AOP v1.92. The calculation was based on a reaction rate constant of 0.00000000016642 cm³/molecule-sec for the Cis-isomer and 0.00000000017326 cm³/molecule*sec for the Trans-isomer. An OH radical concentration of 5 x 10E5 radicals/cm³ was assumed. For a 24 -h day a half-life of 2.22 hours for the Cis-isomer and 2.31 hours for the Trans-isomer was calculated.
