- JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
The flammability of solids is determined on the basis of their ability to easily ignite by brief contact with an ignition source. The main components of this UVCB substance are in stable oxidation states; reaction with oxygen under atmospheric conditions is highly unlikely. Furthermore, long-term industrial handling of the substance provides evidence that it is not flammable. This substance can therefore be designated as non-flammable and the study waived in accordance with REACH Annex XI, Section 1: testing does not appear scientifically necessary.
