Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Long term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is addressed via a read across approach. The 21 day-EC10 of the structurally related substance ortho-Toluenediamine, propoxylated in a OECD 211 guideline study is 2.5 mg/l (nominal) for reproduction.
For details and justification of this read-across, please see information provided in the corresponding Endpoint Study record under 6.1.4. The document follows the requirements of the Read-Across Assessment Framework (RAAF, European Chemicals Agency, 2017) and addresses general (dis-) similarities of the two UVCB substances, manufacturing processes, structural similarity, consistency in endpoints measured for both items, impact of different degrees of alkoxylation, degradation of the parent compound(s) and the potential formation of degradation products, bioaccumulation and common underlying mechanisms.
