Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

There are at least three studies that could be used to give the surface tension of Benzenediamine, ar-methyl-, polymer with 2-methyloxirane and oxirane (Currenta 2009, Laus 2009, Bayer 1996). All studies indicate that the substance is surface active. While Currenta (2009) gives the surface tension to be 53.7 mN/m, Laus (2009) give a range: >= 42.74 mN/m <= 43.28 mN/m. Thus, Laus (2009) was taken forward to describe the key parameter "surface tension" of Benzenediamine, ar-methyl-, polymer with 2-methyloxirane and oxirane since this study gives the lowest value: 42.74 mN/m.
