Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

An experimental determination by DSC on substance refers to report SIK-Nr 12/0038 showed the exothermic decomposition energy is less than 500 J/g and the onset of exothermic decomposition is below 500°C.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Self classification according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on CLP:

- The substance contain one chemical group "triazol" which might be associated with explosive properties but the experimental determination by DSC on substance showed the exothermic decomposition energy is less than 500 J/g and the onset of exothermic decomposition is below 500°C.

The experimental data by DSC indicated that the substance does not have a potential for rapid energy release.

It can be suggested that the substance is not to be considered having potential explosive properties. Thus it is not to be classified as an explosive material.
