Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The different triphenyl(thio)phosphates have no sites which can either be protonated or can dissociate in the environmentally relevant pH range.

The pKa values for the phenolic components are in the range of 10 to 11 and the dissociation of the OH-groups occurs at relatively high pH values.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The estimation of the dissociation behaviour for the phenolic components was done by using their molecular structures and the calculation was based on Taft and Hammett Correlations.
