Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The substance is partly or moderately biodegradable in water. Comparable degradation rates are expected for biodegradation in soil. However, the degradation products retinol and palmitic acid are readily biodegradable; in addition, both substances are natural nutrients. Therefore, simulation studies on biodegradation in soil are not provided.
