The hydrolysis product ethanol was tested in two Lemna-tests following the US EPA method OTS 797.1160. The most sensitive results were: 7 -d EC50 = 3690 mg/L obtained with Lemna minor and a 7 -d NOEC of 280 mg/L from the study with Lemna gibba (OECD, 2005).
